I hate school, but I love learning
Albert Einstein once said “All through life, I never allow my education to interfere with my learning”
I’ve learnt the hard way that school shouldn’t be looked at like an institution but as a tool. It completely shifts my paradigm anyway when I try to unlearn what I’ve learnt all through school.
Someone said the 21st century illiterate isn’t one who doesn’t have an education but one who can not learn, unlearn and re-learn. (more…)

Let’s not fool ourselves, things are not likely to suddenly progress and transform you into success or greatness without doing something you didn’t want to, or think you can do before! I once read about a story that talked about freedom. Once upon a time, some circus workers captured a baby elephant from its family in the amazon jungle of South America. This elephant was very aggressive and violent towards its captors. It resented deeply its forced seperation from its mother and the rest of its family. It fought its captors bravely but unsuccessfully and they were able to subdue it a little, bind its legs and carry it on a horse drawn cart to the circus camp. (more…)

I was told about this song few days ago and I’ve been listening to it relentlessly. It was rendered by John Legend at the Democratic National Convention for the recent Presidential Elections. It inspires me per time. It motivates me and sets me on fire.

I haven’t been able to write post for the past few days not because of lack of desire or lack of content but because of a heaviness a just couldn’t lift. I have been reading “Long walk to freedom” by Nelson Mandela (more…)
