In the first episode of this series, we touched based on solving the most pressing global problems by using technology.
Elon musk has mastered the use of the technology in his niche to solving global issues and that, no doubt has paid off immensely over time.
Le’s delve into the series for today as we will be looking at lessons we can derive from responsive leverage of technology.
- Leverage technology responsibly.
It is almost cliché now to use the phrase “leverage on technology”. The reason why the phrase seems evergreen though is because yesterday’s technology grows obsolete fast, today. When I was a kid, Super Nintendo (SNES) was the height of entertainment for kids.
You must learn one thing. The world was made to be free in. Give up all the other worlds.
So simple, yet so essential, the white shirt is the foundation of any wardrobe. It’s also the most multi-functional item, taking you from work to play with just the quick unfastening of a couple of buttons.
Well, J.A.R.V.I.S later got a body, sort of and became Vision. That process almost backfired as a result of Tony’s irresponsible creation of Ultron, another AI product, who sought to destroy the world and almost succeeded.
Elon also uses AI for most of this work (Tesla’s self-driving capabilities are enabled by AI). He has claimed “Robots do almost everything better than humans”. It must be noted that AI can also be used negatively as often is the case with the villains in the Iron Man movies (Ultron was bad AI).
Elon said in 2017, AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization.
“I have exposure to the most cutting edge AI, and I think people should be really concerned by it,”.
Find the angles that leverage technology to add value to current issues and you may have harnessed an Iron man secret as well.
